As a social media manager, I am responsible for communicating an organization’s mission and programs through management of our social media channels. Growing Habitat’s follower base and increasing engagement were the top two goals of Habitat’s social media plan. From 2016 to 2017, followers across all platforms increased 23 percent and engagement increased 55 percent.
